TRAPPER’S TENTS│A UNIQUE WAY TO ENJOY THE OUTDOORS

Enjoy a freshly percolated morning coffee on your private covered patio overlooking the river, relax the afternoon away reading a book from the comfy adirondack chairs, listen to the crackle of the campfire while stargazing in the evening or play a round of cards at your traditional picnic table. You will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the river and you won't be awakened by the idling of vehicles near your tent, each tent is walk-in only and just a short 1-minute walk from your designated parking space. Free hot showers and seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool included. Our trapper’s sites are completely un-serviced, so come prepared for an off-grid camping experience.

You’ll be disconnected from the hustle and bustle of city life while being fully immersed in the relaxing outdoors, enjoying all of the modern amenities our campground has to offer. All trappers tents include a raised deck/platform with bed(s), 2 adirondack chairs, a side table, broom, and a picnic table. We also have the option to rent camp kitchen supplies.

  • ❖ 1 Side Table

    ❖ 1 Padlock and 1 Key

    ❖ 1 King Sized Bed (#1, #3, and #4) OR 4 Twin Beds (#2, #5, and #6)

  • Bring your own bedding, water jugs, camping chairs, camp kitchen supplies and anything else you simply can't live without. If you would like to simplify your life, rent your camp kitchen supplies from us (must be arranged in advance - subject to availability). Keep in mind that evenings alongside the river are nice and cool, bring warm clothes and sleeping gear for nighttime!

  • Our Trappers Tents may not be suitable for people with mobility issues due to the walk downhill to get to them. Please feel free to call the office for more info!

  • ❖ Quiet time is 11pm to 8am

    ❖ Absolutely no overnight food storage at your trapper’s tent. Food needs to be stored in your vehicle due to wildlife, specifically bears.

    ❖ Garbage needs to be disposed of every night (or when you are away from your site) in the green bear-proof dumpster near the outhouse.

    ❖ No Pets & No Smoking

    ❖ Keep your trapper’s tent & surrounding area tidy.

    ❖ Respect your neighbors by sticking to the designated paths.

    ❖ Please don’t move picnic tables onto the patios.

    ❖ No cooking or propane firepits on the deck.

    ❖ No clothes line

    ❖ Please don’t swing or hang from the framing of the patio/tent.

    ❖ If you use a wheelbarrow to transport your camping supplies, please be courteous and return the wheelbarrow to the designated tree.

    ❖ Upon checkout, please place the chairs inside, lock & leave the tent as you received it.

  • Damage deposit of $125.00/stay added upon arrival and refunded within 3 days of departure, subject to any damage/cleaning fees if necessary.

    A credit card will be kept on file for your reservation that will be charged in case of any damages or applicable cleaning fees.

 

The campground is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please ensure your valuables are stored securely when unattended. Feel free to utilise the padlock overnight or when away from the tent.
